MATERIALS: 
   1 Charles Craft Kitchen Mates Terry Hand Towel
      
in White
   DMC Embroidery floss:  1 skein each of 
      
Dk. Pink #3804, Med. Pink #3805, and Lt.
      
Pink #3806
   No. 24 tapestry needle
   1 ball (50 gr) DMC Cebelia Size 30
       in White
   #12 Steel Crochet Hook
INSTRUCTIONS: 
A.  Using 2 strands of floss, center & cross
    
stitch the charted design, repeating the
     hearts
evenly across Aida cloth insert
     area on towel.

B.  Edge:  Work across top & lower sides of
     Aida cloth insert as illustrated above.
Row 1:  R. S. Attach in towel around Aida
           "square", sc-*ch 5-sk 3 "squares"-sc
              around next "square", repeat from *
           across.  Ch 1, turn.
Row 2:  Sl st in ch 5 sp, ch 4 (= dc + ch 1),
           (dc-ch 1)4 times, dc in same
ch 5
           sp, *sc in next ch 5 sp, (dc-ch 1) 5
           times - dc in next ch 5 sp,
repeat
          
from * across.  Turn.
Row 3:  Sl st in ch 1 sp-starting cluster (=
           ch 3, work 2 more dc in same
place
           holding last lp of each on hook, yo &
           through all lps on hook), [ch 3-sc in
           next ch 1 sp-ch 3-cluster (= work 3
           dc holding last lp of each on hook,
           yo & through all lps on hook) in next
           ch 1 sp] twice, *(cluster in next ch
           1 sp, ch 3-sc in next ch 1 sp)
          
twice, cluster in next ch 1 sp,
          
repeat from * across.  Turn.

      Row 4:  Sl st in top of cluster-ch 5, sl st-ch 3-sl st in top of next cluster, ch 5-sl st
                
between next 2 clusters, *ch 5, sl st-ch 3-sl st in top of next cluster, ch 5, sl st
                
between next 2 clusters, repeat from * across.  End off.
