TECHNIQUE:
1. Starting Popcorn: ch 3
(= dc) + 4 dc in designated place, remove hook from lp,
insert
hook through top of ch 3 & draw lp through
2. Popcorn: 5 dc in designated
place, remove hook from lp, insert in first dc & draw
lp
through
3. Starting 3 dc Cluster over 3 dc: ch
3 (= dc), holding last lp on hook, work 1 dc in each of
next 2 dc, yo & through all lps on hook
4. 3 dc Cluster over 3 dc: holding
last lp on hook, work 1 dc in each of next 3 dc, yo
&
through all lps on hook
5. 3 dc Cluster: holding last lp
on hook, work 3 dc in designated place, yo & through
all lps on
hook
INSTRUCTIONS:
Rnd 1: R.S. Ch 6, sl st in 6th ch from
hook to form ring.
Rnd 2: Ch 6, (2 dc-ch 3 in ring) 7 times, dc in ring.
Join with sl st in 3rd ch of starting ch 6.
Rnd 3: Sl st in ch 3 sp, starting popcorn, *ch 5, popcorn
in next ch 3 sp, repeat from *
around.
Join with sl st in top of starting popcorn.
Rnd 4: Ch 6-dc in top of popcorn, 3 dc-ch 3-3 dc in next
ch 5 sp, *dc-ch 3-dc in top of next
popcorn, 3 dc-ch 3-3 dc in next ch 5 sp, repeat from * around.
Join with sl st in 3rd
ch of starting ch 6.
Rnd 5: Sl st-ch 1-sc in ch 3 sp, *ch 5-sc in next ch 3
sp, repeat from * around. Join with sl
st in starting sc.
Rnd 6: Sl st-ch 1-sc in ch 5 sp, *ch 7-sc in next ch 5
